Spring Street Style Watch

Spring has Sprung!

This means that it’s almost time for happy hour on LA rooftops, or sunbathing in Chicago’s Millennium Park,

or evening strolls on  The Highline in New York City…  before hitting up Grand Banks[Floating Barge] on Pier 25 for cocktails & oysters.  We’re retiring our blanket scarves and Canada Goose downs (hopefully) and turning them in for backless sundresses and gladiator sandals.
We’re embracing the approach of summer with open arms.

Here are some of our go-to outfit picks for all spring activities:

Friday Happy Hour:

Our recent obsession is culottes, and they make for the perfect Friday outfit.  They’re versatile enough that you can dress them up for a mid-day meeting, or make them look more relaxed for happy hour.  Exchange your sandals or flats for a pair of pumps and throw on a fresh coat of lipstick and you’re all set to kick off your weekend right!

Rooftop/Patio Dinner:

There’s nothing quite like sipping on sangria and ordering tapas with bae on a warm summer night, let’s all just agree on this now.  The Grecian maxi is never a poor choice for a nice summertime patio dinner.  The look is elegant and effortless, and can be sported with either a chic messy bun or beach waves.  Add a cute heeled sandal for legs that go on for miles, or opt for a flat sandal for a more relaxed look.

Weekend Shopping Trip:

A weekend excursion to the outlets calls for something easy and low maintenance.  Our choice are overalls, which have made a stellar comeback since their heyday in Saved By The Bell, paired with a soft wash tee shirt and accessorized with a cross body bag and cute pair of trainers for a day on your feet.

One of the top trends that we have been love love LOVING is the athleisure trend.  It’s pairing casual shoes or sneakers with a look you might not typically pair them with for a street style that’s laid back, but still polished and clean.
For a quick shopping trip, choose a tight midi dress to keep the look feminine and current… and pair it with a classic denim jacket & Keds to achieve the perfect weekender look.
